AdC Magazine Needs You

AdC Needs Authors and Readers

That's right. In order for us to not disappear into the oblivion of "I remember that magazine" nostalgia, we need you to stay in business and that means we need advertising dollars. Reality for anyone in the publishing business.

We need authors to send us their books to review, new releases or ARCs only. Send your pdf copy to LouiseSnead@adcmagazine.com with the title in the subject line. Make sure you let her know the release date and genre so she can send it to the appropriate staff reviewer. We review all authors, all genres, and all formats.

We do not charge authors to review their books!

We also need authors to promote their books with us. We make it very enticing and reasonably priced for all authors, struggling and not so struggling. Rates start at $45.

We need more readers who will send us guest reviews of books they've read. It doesn't have to be a literary review. Just a short paragraph on how much you liked or didn't like the book. (No slamming authors or commenting about the editing. It's about the story, not how good their editor was)

So how do we fix this? You can help us.

Readers:

Have you read a book or books you loved. We'd be thrilled if you were a guest reviewer. You can make the review short and sweet or several paragraphs. It's up to you or how much you want to write.

Read a book that wasn't so great? That's okay. We want to hear about that book, too.

Send your reviews to PamAckerson@adcmagazine.com

Authors:

Here's what we offer you.

Write a blog post about your book, book release, special sale, or adventures and we'll post it here on our blog -- FREE  That's right. We don't charge authors to contribute to our blog. Just give us a couple days notice and Voila! You're on our blog.

Send us an announcement about a new release, or a special deal you'll be offering and we'll announce it in our newsletter. -- FREE  That's right. We don't charge you to announce your book release or sale. We do need to know in advance. The newsletter comes out once a month on the first week of the month. So if you're planning a deal or release we need to know beforehand.

Join our newsletter and receive a Kindle Ebook as a special gift. Chose either The Guardian Awaits: Fata Morgana or Deja Mew. adcnewsletters@adcmagazine.com Just let us know which ebook you prefer and we'll send it to you directly from Amazon.

Now, I know you're thinking. You told us about the free stuff, but you said you need us to stay in business and that takes money. True, but even if you don't pay for advertising, we will still do the FREE stuff for you!

Here's the sales pitch. -->

The AdC Magazine Bookshelf page is the second busiest page we have. When you purchase a bookshelf page, you'll receive three months of social media promotion on Facebook and on our twitter/X accounts. Your cover will remain on the bookshelf page for one full year. Rate is $45 for a bookshelf ad.

But, wait. There's more. (Pretending it's the voice like the guy from a home shopping deal)

We Have a Special Blog Deal Only!

Purchase a website bookshelf ad and we'll put you on the bookshelf page in the print/pdf magazine. That's right, the perfect BOGO.

We make it easy peasy! Send us the book cover (press ready or as large as you can) and we'll take care of the rest. We cannot post the ad without the cover, so make sure you send it to us. PamAckerson@adcmagazine.com

In order for the cover to be in the print magazine we need it to be press ready. 300 jpg or higher. If you don't have it at 300 jpg, send the cover to us as large as possible and we can make the adjustment on our end to avoid pixelation.
